I have set up a custom portal for our authors to be able to set up polls and other text-based solutions. This gives them the opportunity to collect email addresses via SMS at conferences and take polls via SMS.
Christmas In July - Mobile Contest
This was WaterBrook's first attempt at entering the mobile space. Chris partnered with Message Media to "rent" a mobile number for marketing. In this case we invited our Facebook fans, email list and Twitter followers to text "Christmas In July" to 57682 where they could be entered to win a set of free Christmas books.
I Am Here - Catalyst Conference 2011
Chris is currently working on launching a mobile campaign that aims to aggregate hundreds of texts on a single webpage. We're setting up this custom page in partnership with Message Media. The development is being managed by Rocket Jones. Design is being handled in-house.

Radical is currently one of WaterBrook's hottest selling books. It's been on the New York Times best seller list for over one year. Using Mobile Roadie, we have pulled together an app to help support the ongoing sale of Radical by David Platt. Look for the app to go live for Android and Apple devices in late September, 2011.
